Activity Forest

The Activity Forest is a playground for those who love moving outdoors. Inside, you'll find trails and routes for our most popular outdoor activities—from Disc Golf and hiking to Trail Running and MTB.

The terrain is diverse, offering beautiful views and varied surfaces—from rocky sections to forest and marshland.

Plenty to Discover

Everyone is welcome to explore the Activity Forest, whether you're staying at Käringsund Resort & Conference or just visiting for the day. The forest activities are free to use, and if you don’t have your own gear, rental equipment is available. Our activity wristband is also a great option—it includes disc rental for Disc Golf.

Right at the entrance to the forest, you’ll find:

  • Käringsund DiscGolfPark:
A relatively challenging 9-hole course, with family-friendly tees.

  • Käringsund’s hiking trail Träsket:

  • Orienteering in Käringsund:
From Midsummer to mid-August, there’s a beginner-friendly orienteering course for children.
Maps can be purchased at the reception or Strandshoppen—or downloaded and printed at home.
    Note: No course in 2023.

  • SwimRun:
    From Midsummer to mid-September, there's a ~6 km SwimRun course with 4 swim sections (150–200 m each).
The trail is marked with red flags and red-painted rocks. Each swim segment is marked with yellow-red signs.
This is also the "SHORT ENOUGH" course of the Åland SwimRun.
The course is free to use at your own risk.
For help, you can book a ~1h introduction with a guide, wetsuit, paddles, and safety gear at Strandshoppen.
